KilPop Minute: The Seattle grunge inspired film “Singles” turns 25 and the soundtrack get reissued!

In 1992, the movie Singles played in theaters. an awesome soundtrack accompanied said movie with the likes of Pearl Jam and Alice In Chains, and was kind of the world’s guide to this “new genre of music” that was grunge.
Fast forward 25 years later, and the soundtrack to Singles is getting reissued. The two-disc anniversary set will be released February 17th and will not only feature Alice In Chains and Pearl Jam BUT Mother Love Bone, Mudhoney, Screaming Trees, among others, on one disc while the other will include songs that didn’t make the original release along with demos written by Chris Cornell for the movie’s fictional band, Citizen Dick.
This should make grunge fans salivate.
