Following a recent stint in a treatment facility, Five Finger Death Punch’s Ivan Moody addressed his substance abuse issues. Moody sat out a number of shows of the band’s European tour this past summer due to his battles with alcohol and was temporarily replaced by Bad Wolves Vocalist Tommy Vext. Ivan said in a quote, “ I just got to a point where I was lying to myself constantly, so I had to face up to that.” Five Finger’s guitarists Zoltan Bathory revealed the band couldn’t even use pyrotechnics during it’s live performances when Moody was drinking in case there was an accident saying, Ivan was functioning alcoholic. Fiver Finger plans on releasing a greatest hits record on December 1st that will feature 2 new songs, “Trouble” which I’m sure you’ve heard already heard and “Gone Away” and their 7th full-length LP will be released in spring of 2018.
